What was once a dark and uncomfortable home turned into a light-filled space curated with Unique art and treasures from travels
This 1940’s historic hacienda-style home is one of several free-standing buildings tucked in the center of Downtown Santa Barbara. The homeowner sought to transform her dark home into a bright and sacred space filled with crystals and treasures from travels. Jodi wanted the historic architecture and the interior design to blend together in perfect harmony. She brought in custom furniture and art to match the adobe walls and original brick flooring. All new lighting was installed to brighten the home and contemporary fixtures by Ochre were chosen for a timeless look. Paint infused with crushed crystals coated the walls for added shine and warmth. Jodi worked with local craftsmen to create custom cabinetry and shelving to house the homeowner’s mementos and meaningful souvenirs.
The beautiful hacienda-style adobe home now brings light and positivity with a touch of modernity.
